Ingredients List:
- 4 Eggs, Separated
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Whole Milk
- 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Melt the sugar over low heat in a heavy saucepan, stirring constantly. Once the sugar turns into a golden caramel, pour it into a round baking dish, making sure that the syrup coats all sides of the dish. Set aside to cool.
Put the egg yolks into a blender and mix on medium speed for 5 minutes.
Add the condensed milk, milk, and egg whites. Continue to blend until all ingredients are combined.
Pour the egg mixture into the baking dish and cover with parchment paper.
Place the baking dish in a roasting pan. Fill the roasting pan with boiling water to reach halfway up the sides of the baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted 1" from the edges of the pudim comes out clean.
Allow flan to cool completely before unmolding. Then, refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.
